imper Just arrived Offline Posts: 11 rotherham Gender:	diesel cleaner 26.11.09 at 21:51:03 My rover 420DI bit high on emissions hopin it just needs a good thrash and some cleaner in it, anybody recommend a good diesel cleaner?

use Forte cleaner in the fuel system. Also remove EGR valve and use bottle brush to clean inside exhaust manifold, will probably be full of soot.Re-assemble then give it loads of revs and watch the black smoke pour out.I've had two of these diesel rovers and they were very good.I scrapped one at 165,000.Has a K-series heard of this mileage?

Me to, there a very very good reliable engine, unlike there petrol counterparts. Wink

diesels are an L-series. And ive seen many K-series lumps with mega miles.
