Window cleaners use it a lot now, anyone know if they tend to buy it in bulk or have a filter? Is it practical for car washing?  Undecided
Thanks

I wouldn't. I thought the same but it still has clothes fibres etc in it, and tastes distinctively of fabric softner still!! I was going to use it for putting in the iron, and thought "I bet it'll taste nice and pure". It doesn't  Cry

I thought de-ionised water is boiled water left to cool - is that correct?

We have a reverse osmosis unit on the workshop wall that turns ordinary tap water in to deionized water, it flows through a special cartridge, we use it for topping up the batteries.

All I need to worry about is flashing green light means good & flashing red light means time to change the cartridge  Cheesy

Normally get 3 to 4 months per cartridge.

No that's Distilled water that has been boiled then condensed to collect the pure water. Smiley

Deionized water is water that has been filtered or treated to remove ions
