The low mileage will add a premium, but only if it is in tip top condition. If it is the post-facelift model with the more modern dash then these are much better cars and I would add a £500 premium. The X-type may be a more reliable car than a pre-facelift S-type, but I would say that the tables are turned post-facelift S-type, which I would say are better than X-types. The X-types do after all have their own well documented problems (uneven tyre wear and rusting cills to name but a few). Tried switching off etc this model is 2002 but pre electronic handbrake version I assume it may just be the sensors but wondered if anyone had experienced it?
