been for a starship trip today.. brakes are getting better i feel.. but i will have to think well ahead before throwing the anchor out.be great if i could fit a more modern servo Embarrassed

I fired my starship up at last and gave her a run and met up with Alan and wife..Ron Monks and wife.. Norman Dewis 92 and some starships.. Mr monks 4.2 mk10 is supposed to be the same colour as mine.. but one or other has faded perhaps.. Cool

We all had a good natter in the pub and it was good that Norman came over and sat with us. It was quite amazing as he is 92 and recalled all the past events with ease. He was telling us about testing the disguised mk10's in spain etc. Plus i asked him about the xj13 crash etc.... i bet he has had to tell these stories 100's of times.
The main event is today but at a mere 60 i do not feel up to it today but it is early yet so I will see how i feel. Sad

Ron's fuel tank was full and contents had expanded and started to leak out of small hole in filler neck.

the interior of Ron's car..... puts mine to shame

my breather pipe is missing in my engine compartment and it was getting quite smelly in my cab.... i will have to make something up....my pipe was lost by the last repair people.... I will have to make something up that brings pipe out below the engine compartment.
