This one is for the Jaguar History Experts:

I noticed a similarity between the Vent Knobs of the 1963-1968 S type and the Dimmer and Cigar Lighter Knobs of the 1980-1992 XJ.

See for yourself; they are identical design, the S type's are in chromed metal, and the XJ's are in black plastic.

This is but one of those similarities that I have discovered in both these cars.

On my 94 Sov (93 MY I think) the seat control symbols look just like the symbols on the Aliens self destruct control on Predator, the Arnie film. Seem to be about as usefull for adjusting the seats . pity they dont use same symbols as my 88.
