HELP, locked out of my X300 boot (Read 204 times)

motorwaymick Junior Member Offline Posts: 56 Kent Gender:	HELP, locked out of my X300 boot 04.02.2010 at 15:14:31 Car has been standing for a few weeks, went out today and the battery is flat, even too flat to operate the boot release, now seeing as my boot doesnt open with the key I am stuffed for getting at the battery. Any suggestions, Thanks Mick.

Earth jump lead to engine, and Bob's your uncle. All the best Brian

Yes thanks, forgot to mention my jump leads were also in the boot Angry

couldnt get into my garage to get the charger as the Jag was parked up against the door, managed to borrow a battery charger from a neighbour, connected it under the bonnet & that gave enough power for the boot to release. Thanks Mick.
