Problems with password reset
22.12.2010 at 19:05:53
I have been racking my brains trying to remember my password. Tried a few of the usual PW's but none of them worked.
I then tried for a PW reset.
Completed the form and then received the email with the confirming link. Clicked thru and was logged in.
I then attempted to change my password but was prompted to supply my password. Result misery as I couldnt remember the dam thing.
Am I being thick here.
Someone please help.
The only way I can access the site is to keep requesting a PW reset.
Terry

Hope I've read this right. As it appears that your problem is not with the system, can you not settle for a different password?
I also think that the password requested on the 'reset' is the gobbldeygook one provided via the email. You'll need to write it down somewhere before you use it to log in.
If this is not the answer, we can get your issue referred to Admin.. Sorry, it's a long time since I needed to do the exercise. Cheers, apax.

OK Terry. Sorry you're having this frustrating block! I've passed it to the Admin experts, who should be able to sort it for you. Can't promise when though at this point, but I'll keep on top of it. Regards, a.pax
