I had the impression that all 3.2-engined XJ40 was equipped with catalysts ?? Mine now has only the 2 underfloor cats left...
I did not want to test topspeed yesterday, but I think I have seen 210 kph (130 mph) listed as topspeed for the 3.2.
It surely felt like I would have reached that fairly easy...
I better finish the work on bushings and dampers before trying again...

They were only fiited from '90 onwards and mine was an early '90 car. Cheers, apax.
