Interesting thought, never tried that but maybe doing it with handbrake on would work.
Only aware of the constant bleeping when in reverse. Are they fairly easy to get out once identified or is it a professional job?

Wouldn't trust just the handbrake - why not try it with ignition on, car in reverse, engine not running
Just lever out from rear "bumper" carefully (small screwdriver)

Hey Archie,
I love
the number plate on your car and the 4.0 ltr V8 badge too.
I can probably better that though because I have a "Type R" badge on my cars rear end and Oh, a V12 badge too. You can buy almost anything on Fleabay, ha ha.

I am sure a morris 1000 badge would look good on the back of a S type also.

The 4.0 V8 badge was on the car when I bought it, I have owned the personal reg for a few years and transferred it to previous cars and it has doubled in value
The S Types days are numbered howeve
r, the rear window recently dropped and I spent over an hour stripping the panel
I'm after another
Jeep Cherokee / GC
, once I find one....and transfer the reg the S Type will be on E bay/ Gumtree

Just picked up a 98 2.5 Sport trade in from a local dealer, 10 months MOT 5 month tax, 3" lift kit and Nitrogen shockers - whatever they are
It drives sweet as a nut, only problem is the central locking doesn't work off the remote I'll soon sort that out
The dealer is interested in buying the Jag when the plates are changed.
