Hi jaq Thanks its a case of getting the spare out of the car for the judges so it looks better on a stand than lying on the floor trust you got sorted with your petrol cap lucky you hadent filled up to much hope you are well and that your car is ok now

Hi Bryan, timely comment as thought sorted with replacement filler flap lock and the last locking fuel cap in the dealer network but went to put some fuel in it today and couldnt get filler flap lock to turn so looks like someone has been sticking a screwdriver in the filler flap lock again and trashed it. Not happy about this one
.
Got a replacement boot lid downstairs which in reasonable condition on outside but some attention needed on underside as bubbling a bit there. Will get that sprayed up (currently silver and came off a car at scrapyard with red interior) at some point
Should significantly improve cars appearance then though want to attend to a few small patches on bodywork when time and weather permits

You had better get the wire wool and autosol out then. The older Vee 12 engines are better in my opinion as you have not got that stupid cover on hiding the centre of the vee which Jags put on to tidy the engine bay with the coming of the six litre vee 12.
That Vee 12 at the concours is beautiful. It would be nice to see a picture of the whole car.

According to the DVLA's website a white Jaguar 3.6 (the website doesn't specify the model) with that registration is actually taxed until the end of September...
Not sure why you'd want to leave an out-of-date tax disc in the window, but then I've never understood the tendency of some show goers to dress up, build stages, use cardboard to turn their cars into tacky imitation submarines, fill their (limited) boot space with camping gear, or put-up 'themed' stands.
Takes all sorts, I suppose.
Bryan, your car looks awesome as always.

Hi Bryan
Did an HPI check on that Reg number not recognised
DVLA shows not registered on SORN so should not be on the road
No wonder he did not want to talk to you about it.

Might just be a case of slipping the current disc behind this one in error (can happen). So many systems around to track down no tax, insurance and MOT that you would need to be fairly lucky not to get caught.
Looks like a fairly expensive repair bill looming to the scuttle. Just starting to blister. Otherwise looks like a half way decent vehicle
Happy Motoring.
Nick
Just looked back at previous postings. My mistake. Does look vehicle should not be being driven on public roads on this basis.
