hi. i have a 97 XK8 with a few window lift problems. i have read the other threads on the forum and i'm familiar with how to set them up (doors in closed position) but the faults still persist.
the drivers side won't drop automatically with one press of the button (stops when button is released) but it does drop a little when the door handle is operated so the door will open and close.
on the passenger side it drops to the bottom on one press of the button but won't drop a little when the door hadle is operated so i can't close the door until i manually drop the window on the button.
i know this is a bit of a technical problem but if anyone can shine a light on this i'd really appreciate it.
