This car would have won the trophy had it not been for the wrong sized battery which I'm not allowed to mention "OOOPS" sorry John

Alan,
Many thanks for posting the excellent photos and for the support of yourself and Teresa on the day. All very much appreciated. However, I would have thought that someone of your exalted rank would have been aware of the 420G Type "R" with its many performance features, the lightweight battery being but one!
On a slightly more serious note, the judges had quite a few issues with ROB & rightly so. This did not prevent us from having a great time - felt rather priviledged to be there.
With best wishes
Lindy & John
Best bit of the Show - attached is a pic of Tony Banks, who has driven the car from new. Great to see him enjoying EXACTLY the same interior as 41 yrs ago.
does not this chap play keyboards for the pop group genisis?
or is he a lord something or other?
