s-type spare wheel

Hello
I'm looking at an s-type to buy (2003, 3.0v6), but the spare wheel is missing. Could someone tell me whether the spare is an alloy, steel wheel, or space saver.
also, where is the locking wheel nut key usually kept?
thanks
Phil

Hi Phil,
My S type has a space-saver wheel in the boot. I believe this is a standrd item and hopefully another member will confirm this.
The locking wheel nut key should fit into a small recess on the circular plastic tray along with the jack, wheel brace tool and a few more items. This plastic tray sits into the spare wheel centre on the deep/inside.
I can upload a pic for you in the morning.

Morning Phil
,
Uploading the pic for you now. It may be a little large.
The locking wheel nut key is shown at the 1-o'clock position in the tray.
