I'm sure that spacesavers are interchangeable regardless of model. I picked one up for my XJ-S (which never was supplied with a  space saver) for £13. Just make sure that the overall diameter is the same as existing wheels to get the gearing and road height right.
Bear in mind that the diameter of the wheel and the tyre wall depth will always be totally different to your existing wheels. It's the OD that matters. Cheers, apax.

Not the case, I'm afraid.

The S-Type, the X-Type and XJs from X350 on have a different wheel nut pattern (PCD) than earlier cars.

The modern  XK series changes to the later pattern also, but I don't know what model year that was.

Hi. My addition many months late (new member, and in N.Z.). By now you will have a spare no doubt.
Yep, scrapyards first call. My "Jack" got damaged by son using it to lift a Toyota Hilux front end, the whole front! I went to a Jaguar wreckers and got one out of a wrecked car that was "new", ie. never been used. Paid a little less than half the price Jaguar agents were charging, so I was very pleased.
Re "space-saver" spare. Read a comment about making sure diameter etc were correct or speedo may not read correctly. Fair comment for a normal spare. BUT, remember, a "space-saver" spare is only designed and made to get a car to the nearest garage, and no further. Cars' speed shouldn't be more than say 50km/h (30mph). They are not supposed to get you home or to complete a journey.
Best regards, John.
