"I always said he was not from my loins"

Unless your son is the "Registered Owner" of the three Jags the authorities cannot put a lien on them

I think someone is pulling your leg - unless the parking fine was on one of your Jags.

No, unfortunately I believe the law was changed to make the 'registered owner' of the offending vehicle responsible for any fines if the driver doesn't cough up.

Once the bailiffs get a hold of the case, they can confiscate anything they see in or on your property from which they think they can realise the amount owing.

Better get your cheque book out mate!

In that case he was presumably the registered owner of that car but at your address - so tell the bailiffs to get stuffed - the Jags do not belong to the registered owner of the offending car.

That would require 'thinking' - and the bailiffs are generally as thick as pig-sh*t and muscular with it.

As a matter of interest, to whom was the letter addressed - the one you found stuffed through your door?
