i would like to buy my 4th xj car. i want an x358 and as i am a 3-4000 miles a year driver i would like to know if a petrol car is better for me rather than a diesel. i know of problems with the dpf on the diesel cars and would like to know if there are additves out there that can help and if not how serious can the problem can get. i prefer petrol cars and as there are only a handful out there for 2008-09 models including supercharged ones should i wait to buy .

i fully agree with brian petrol would be the one to have i would go for the best spec supercharged car u can find.
