quick message, i have a 98 sport that due to compression problems the engine is buggered!!! she is too nice a car just to scrap inside and out. xjr8 wheels with good tyres, tw throttle bodies(the orginal is ok and bought another thinking that could have been the problem. brand new cam,temp,crank sensors 2 month old upgrade thermo the list goes on!!

Robbo, I find the X300 much cheaper and easier to fix than the X308, welcome to the club Wink

It looks a nice car that, is the compression trouble down to the Nikasil problem?

thanks brian cheers bud!!! the compression problem was due to high build of carbon and part nikasil. 93000 on the clock, and never did less than 10 mile from cold. shame, she was a lovely car!!! rip. Cry
