Fuel Filter

Hi
David Manners are listing 2 different fuel filters for XJ40 1991 on:
C2C35417 costs 20 GBP incl VAT. Weight 340 gr
NMD6091AC# costs 11.40 GBP incl VAT. Weight 150 gr.
What's the difference, and what should I choose ?
Will I get double mileage on the double price/weight filter
??

I believe it's the other way round:
# should indicate original Jaguar...

This text is from davidmanners.co.uk:
Notice - part numbers ending # are original equipment parts and parts ending in * are replacement parts

Don't know if its any help but my 88 cars have much bigger filters than my 94 cars. The threads and fittings are different so you will need one the same as you have on.
Both are about 100 / 110mm long. The smaller one on the newer cars about 50 to 55 mm diameter abnd the larger one on the older cars about 90 or 90m diameter.
I think you can tell the diffeence on the Jaguar heritage parts website but I have not looked to check.
Cheers

The Jaguar Classic Parts page says the same. Thanks
